We are a small but perfectly formed group of like-minded individuals who all have a connection with the Shooting Star Unit.
Our goal
To gift a small gesture of support for patients who are about to embark on a difficult journey. Being scheduled to commence chemotherapy can be an overwhelming and terrifying experience. Even if well prepared with advanced information, the ‘out of control’ feeling can be frightening for most patients.
We wanted patients to know that there are so many people, either directly or indirectly, hoping that they can find the strength to cope both physically & mentally during their treatment
